Cross-Border Customs Coordination

For shipments moving between the United States and Mexico, a Mexican customs broker facilitates the entire border crossing process. The customs broker is responsible for preparing and submitting the required import and export documentation, coordinating with customs authorities, and ensuring the shipment complies with all regulations before crossing the border. At US MEX CA TRADE, we work with carriers, brokers, and logistics providers to support the freight transfer and staging process that often takes place before or after customs clearance.

The Mexican customs broker prepares the necessary import/export documentation and submits it to the appropriate customs authorities.

The broker coordinates the freight movement through the border crossing.

Shipments may be transferred or staged at US MEX CA TRADE for cross-docking, transloading, or inspection support.

Once cleared, freight continues to its final destination in the United States or Mexico.
